Kesam Katz, Eilat, Israel

RED SEA SUNSET is a stole which uses both knitting and crochet stitches, silk yarns as well as wool yarns. The dark purple symbolizes the mountains which surround the Red Sea on the Jordanian side, while the various other colors show the sunset as reflected by the water of the Red Sea. My apartment in southern Israel overlooks the Red Sea and its constantly changing colors are a delight to watch--one of Mother Earth's wonders.
